Terms of Service
Last updated: June 20, 2026
These terms govern your use of Zoku, a macOS application, and the Zoku website. Zoku is an independent project operated by an individual developer. By downloading or using Zoku you agree to these terms. Contact: pd@heyzoku.com.
The service
Zoku is a voice-first companion app for macOS (it requires macOS 14 or later). Coding Use is offered free of charge while in beta; Computer Use is offered as a paid monthly subscription. Features, free-tier availability, and pricing may change, and we’ll keep this page and the pricing page current.
Acceptable use
- Don’t use Zoku for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes.
- Don’t attempt to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
- Don’t resell or misrepresent the service.
AI output disclaimer
Zoku uses AI models that can produce inaccurate or incomplete information. Output is not professional, legal, financial, or medical advice. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying anything you act on, and for any actions Zoku takes on your behalf.
Accounts, subscriptions & billing
Zoku is a monthly subscription billed in advance. Payments are processed by DodoPayments as merchant of record; subscription terms and refund eligibility are presented at checkout. Your plan renews automatically each month until you cancel. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account — cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
Intellectual property
Zoku and its branding belong to us. You retain ownership of the content you provide; you grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service (for example, sending your prompts to AI providers to generate responses).
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms or to protect the service. You can stop using Zoku and request account deletion at any time.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zoku is provided without warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves and will revise the “last updated” date. Continued use means you accept the changes.
